Arriving in Chiang Mai, Thailand

My dream has always been to travel the world - to see as many incredible places as I can.

I love learning about different cultures, languages and meeting new people. So with my new sense of adventure, I took the plunge and booked flights to Thailand.

Lazy Sunday

Quite genuinely, there is nothing I love more than a lazy sunday.
A long lie, followed by coffee and breakfast made in pyjamas, surrounded by sleepy family members and partners in tow.
Onto more chilling out, before showers and throwing on something comfy. Then making something yummy for lunch, before taking the pup out for some fresh air.
Today was no exception, and with my new camera lens... I was more than ready to get outside.
We are really lucky that the Pentland hills are within walking distance and the hustle and bustle of the city is also within close range too. The best of both worlds on our doorstep.

Stressed Out Skin

There is nothing worse than waking up to a bad skin day.
I have always suffered from bad skin...
The full whack - oily, dry, sensitive, blemish prone, NIGHTMARE skin.
The older I get, the wiser I have become about maintaining healthy clear skin.
My mum has always instilled in me, since I was small, the importance of having a good skincare routine. She still gets mistaken for my sibling, and I truly believe her wise words are the key to her beautiful, youthful glow!
Finally I have found products that work for me, that keep all/most of my pesky skin worries at bay.

Sunday Brunch - Moon & Hare

Weekends that I have to work I must say, are not my favourite.
Before you know it, you are thrown back into the craziness of the week and you haven't had the chance to catch up with yourself or wind down.
Luckily Sunday is my day off this week so I made the most of it!

St. Andrews, Scotland

Recently life has been a little bit tough for my chap, so in a bid to put a smile back on that gorgeous face...I knew it was time for an adventure!
Luckily, my youngest sister and her man were heading off in the car for a day trip to St. Andrews and this couldn't have been better timing or a better location.

Spiced Apple Gluten Free Granola

For as long as I can remember I have suffered with chronic stomach issues. Now, i'm not talking cramps or bloating...I am talking about within seconds of taking a bite of toast, a bubbling sensation in my stomach and sheer terror creeping over me as I dash to the bathroom knowing i'll be stuck there for no less than an hour and then will be rushing back every 30 mins for the rest of the day, in agony... feeling SO unbelievably poorly.
It is NOT pretty and has caused me many an issue over the years! Anxiety to travel, to eat out, be somewhere new, not knowing where the quickest exit to the ladies was... Just being around people in general when food was involved caused me far too much worry. Having to excuse yourself that many times, for that length of time does not go unnoticed!
About a year ago I was literally so sick and tired of being sick and tired of these horrible episodes. No matter how much I loved croissants and pizza I was going to have to make a change and fast!

Netherlands - The Keukenhoff

It all began at Schipol airport, waiting in a queue for the best part of an hour, with hundreds of excited tourists waiting to catch a glimpse of this natural wonder. Crowds and crowds of people packed into buses, one after the other while we patiently waited for our turn to come. A one hour bus journey later, we had finally reached our destination..
Sometimes life and hardships can get in the way of us doing the things we love. The things that make us feel For me my passion is to be creative and for the last year or so my desire to design or do anything creative had sort of burned out.
Luckily for me, my chap knows me better than I realise... and as it turns out, all I needed was a little shove in the right direction...this direction happened to be Europe's biggest flower garden!
