Quite genuinely, there is nothing I love more than a lazy sunday.
A long lie, followed by coffee and breakfast made in pyjamas, surrounded by sleepy family members and partners in tow.
Onto more chilling out, before showers and throwing on something comfy. Then making something yummy for lunch, before taking the pup out for some fresh air.
Today was no exception, and with my new camera lens... I was more than ready to get outside.

We are really lucky that the Pentland hills are within walking distance and the hustle and bustle of the city is also within close range too. The best of both worlds on our doorstep.

Summer is fading but beautiful flowers are still in bloom, just long enough to catch them before Autumn comes into full swing.

Even the last of the summer berries are hanging in there.

I'd say the walk was a gentle stroll...for the two of us yes, but for Logie...it was game on!

I'm sorry but can we just appreciate how handsome he is!?

We walked up to Torduff Reservoir where the water is strictly for admiring...

Or you can break ALL the rules, and find a sneaky break in the fence to dive straight in!!!

Photo credit to my very handsome parter in crime...the one on two legs!

Strolling past beautiful shades of purple...

There is something so satisfying knowing that Edinburgh has reached maximum capacity for the Fringe festival. Up here you can enjoy the view of the city without a tourist in sight. Just the sound of paws dashing through the heather...

Totally worn out, we had a wee seat on a bench to sit back and admire the views.

I hope you all had a wonderful sunday too!
